Well then, I guess we should get this started off right. I'm Alison. I'm a makeup artist going on six years. I've done everything from effects and prosthetics to glamor and beauty. Most recently I am beginning to learn airbrush and hope to have it well under my belt by Halloween.

I've worked on film, theater, fashion shows, photography, television, and various black tie events. I have the most fun during Halloween, as you may expect. I do a lot of custom prosthetics, masks, and makeup for people during that time of year. I like to hear all the creative ideas people come up with, and love being able to make the ideas come to life. I also can do alot of props and decor stuff. You know no house is complete without a severed body part... or two. So if you need help getting yourself (or your house) into character give us a yell.

So that's the work stuff... how about some personal babble. As I said I love Halloween, which leads into the fact that I love horror and gore. I am also a comic dork, mainly Marvel and Vertigo but a little of everything manages to sneak in. This year for Halloween you will hopefully see my husband and I made up as Harly Quinn and the Joker.
Other side note interests: Pirates!, punk, steam punk, pin-up, vintage, ZOMBIES, fantasy, sharks, oh and Tank Girl.

Alright! I'm Sam, I graduated from AIC in media arts and animation and immediately launched myself in the architectural industry. After 2 1/2 years of that, I felt I needed a change, therefore..

I'm now a full-time makeup artist in the Denver Metro area, specializing in beauty and glamor but slowly but surely learning special effects, prosthetics, and body painting. Lots of it with the help of Alison as she's being doing this longer than I. I've just acquired an airbrush so here's hoping I can start testing that out and start using my traditional art skills with it!

With much help from Alison, I've had the pleasure to work in film, tv, and various events. On a regular basis, Alison, Laura (~ddphoto), and friends, get together just to come up with a fantastic new shoot and new ideas. It's a awesome creative outlet and I don't know what I'd do without it!

Outside of it all, I enjoy playing WoW, going to movies, hanging out with friends, and martial arts. I also enjoy traveling as much as time and money allow me, which is usually done through the various conventions I attend. For some time now, I've been big into sci-fi, anime, and harry potter conventions for one reason or another, I try my hand at cosplaying but find often that sewing isn't my passion, but that's where the makeup also comes in handy!

Otherwise, I live with my awesome roommate Bev and our two cats. Even though the cats don't always get along, but tough!
